NEURO SCAN TO BUILD SECOND ESI-256 CHANNEL SYSTEM

FIU PawNeuro Scan Labs will install a ESI-256 Channel EEG/EP System at Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, Florida. The Principal Investigator of the NSF-Sponsored project that enabled the purchase of the ESI-256 is Dr. Malek Adjouadi . Dr. Adjouadi is the Director of the NSF-funded Center For Advanced Technology and Education (CATE), which will specifically house the ESI-256, within the Center for Engineering and Applied Sciences. This ESI-256 System will be the second unit sold in the world and the first to be installed in an academic research setting in North America. The first ESI-256 System was installed at the beginning of this year at the Brain Research Institute at the University of Niigata in Niigata, Japan.
