McGoron) was secured to establish an optical imaging laboratory housed at Miami Children’s Hospital (MCH) to benefit the BME department and the joint Neuro-Engineering Program. The event was celebrated both at the FIU-President University House and at the Torch Society Gold Flame Induction Ceremony. The initial ground work by Dean Vish Prasad, BME Chairperson Richard Schoephoerster, and Director of Development Avy Weberman is greatly appreciated.
